From sitting in the muddy marshes to mile after mile across dusty fields, hunters demand a lightweight semi-auto shotgun that is easy to swing and as reliable as a retriever. At last, the long-awaited 20 gauge A5 Camo has arrived. This lightweight gem is designed with a smaller frame than the 12 gauge models, allowing the 20 Gauge to stay slim and easy to handle. At under six pounds, this gun is a joy to shoot during a long day in the marsh. It's quick to maneuver and offers a powerful punch when you need to pull the trigger.
The A5 Camo 20 gauge is another in a hard-working Browning waterfowl shotgun line-up. In addition to the full camo and composite stock, you'll also find all the other features that have elevated the A5 to best-selling status. For example, Total Barrel Dynamics — the combination of a Vector Pro lengthened forcing cone, back-bored barrel, and the Invector-DS choke tube system — optimizes shot pattern performance.
Like the 12 and 16 gauge models that came before, this Browning A5 is sure to become a classic in its own right. The 20 gauge runs on recoil, what we've dubbed the Kinematic Drive System. In its simplest term, kinetic energy is the energy of motion. The A5 takes advantage of recoil-generated kinetic energy using a powerful, short recoil-operation system and converting it into the mechanical motion needed to operate the action. This concept is tried and true, and now perfected by the company that broke ground first with autoloading shotguns.
