At 10.3 inches, this is the most compact configuration in Geissele's Super Duty MOD1 line, built for shooters who need maximum maneuverability without giving up any of the reliability the platform is known for. The Geissele Super Duty MOD 1 5.56 NATO 10.3" 08-523S wears a Desert Dirt Color finish and carries every upgrade that separates the MOD1 series from the original Super Duty rifles.

The barrel is precision machined and cold hammer forged from top-tier steel, finished in manganese phosphate with a chrome lining for real resistance to heat, wear, and the elements. An HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD 556 sits at the muzzle, suppressor-ready from the factory. As with the rest of this Geissele Super Duty SBR line, the standout component is Geissele's own Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group - Nanoweapon coated, with a properly staked and torqued gas key lined in chrome, and an H13 tool steel cam pin with its own Nanoweapon coating for corrosion resistance. The Stressproof Bolt is precision machined from Carpenter 158+ barstock, giving it real strength and fatigue resistance that holds up over time, even on a 10.3 SBR configuration where components tend to see more stress per shot.

The SSA-E X Lightning Bow trigger delivers a smooth, light first-stage take-up and a crisp second-stage break, mounted in a Super Duty Lower machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with Geissele's Ultra Duty Lower Parts Kit and ambidextrous configurable safety. An updated MK16 Super Modular Rail mates tightly to the upper to eliminate rotation, with room for optics, red dots, or night vision. A B5 Systems Enhanced Sopmed Stock and Airborne Charging Handle finish the build.
