The Haydels DS85 Deluxe Squirrel Call is designed to reproduce the natural sounds of grey squirrels, including barks, chatters, and distress cries. Its acrylic construction features a clear and black finish for a distinctive appearance.
Blow moderately into the exhaust barrel to produce the cry of a grey squirrel. For a high-pitched baby-in-distress sound, blow five panicky notes. These calling options provide a practical way to imitate multiple squirrel vocalizations with one manual call.
The DS85 is a non-electronic squirrel call, so it requires no batteries. Its straightforward design is intended for use by hunters and outdoor enthusiasts seeking realistic squirrel sounds from a compact hand-operated call.
Haydels combines the DS85 part number with a purpose-built squirrel-call design that focuses on recognizable grey squirrel vocalizations. Use the bark, chatter, and distress sounds according to the calling situation.
