The Auto-Ordnance 1911BKOC15 commemorative pistol honors the 250th Anniversary of the founding of the Army on June 14, 1775. Based on the classic Auto-Ordnance M1911A1 Government Issue profile, this pistol is chambered in .45 ACP and features a 5-inch barrel with a 7+1 capacity.
The upper slide is finished in OD Green Cerakote, while the lower frame features Coyote Tan Cerakote. The controls, safety, slide stop and magazine release have a contrasting Black Oxide finish. The serrated slide includes detailed commemorative engravings, including “United States of America,” a 250 Anniversary banner with FX Gold Cerakote accents and bold “ARMY” lettering.
A CNC design on top of the slide depicts the layout of a U.S. Army dress uniform, accented with Black Cerakote lines and FX Gold Cerakote buttons. Custom laser-engraved wood grips feature a colonial soldier on the right panel and a modern-day soldier on the left, representing the Army’s continued service and evolution. One magazine is included.
