Thompson/Center T-17 Foaming Bore Cleaner is formulated to clean and neutralize harmful fouling in rifle bores. It is engineered for use with traditional black powder and black powder substitutes, helping address residue that can affect rifle accuracy.
The foaming cleaner also helps remove plastic, copper, and lead deposits left in the bore. Its foam penetrates caked-on fouling and is designed to reduce the need for barrel brushing during cleaning.
To use, spray the foaming solvent into the barrel and allow it to stand for one hour. Wipe the barrel clean after treatment. T-17 leaves a micro-thin protective film in the bore to help prevent rust and corrosion; the product description recommends treating the barrel with T-17 Seasoning patches afterward.
This 7-ounce Thompson/Center Arms cleaner is a practical choice for cleaning and restoration as part of a regular rifle maintenance routine.
