Considerations & Recommendations
- Shield Arms S15 magazines are steel, unlike Glock’s plastic OEM mags.
- S15 magazines provide 150% capacity over OEM magazines.
- More rounds equal greater total round mass supported by the mag catch; steel catches prevent reliability issues.
- Do not use another manufacturer’s mag catch, as this may cause reliability issues.
- While compatible with plastic OEM magazines, prolonged use may cause increased wear and may not drop free; steel-on-steel or plastic-on-plastic is recommended.
