We have created a custom set of 50, 11x17 inch Armorers mats using the Armorers mat fabric. These mats are made to protect firearms while at the workbench and are strong enough to stand up to daily gunsmithing activities. The mats feature rubber-coated fabric on the edges for durability and the smooth surface is great for placing small or delicate parts. The surface is also dirt and grease resistant, making this mat useful in the garage, cleaning supplies, and nearly every other area where tools and small parts are placed. This is a great use for a cleaning bench, too, since it prevents a puddle of grease or oil from forming on the surface of your mat and a spill-free area to clean up with. The mats feature die-cut window strips so you can see your work surface below without having to remove the mat. Each mat is constructed with a punched steel frame and rubber-coated fabric on the edges to protect firearms from damage.
