Tikka has launched it's next generation of rimfire rifles with the introduction of the T1x MTR. This little bolt action beauty is chambered in .22 Long Rifle and features a 20" cold hammer forged barrel. To the untrained eye the barrel may appear to be in a heavy profile however Tikka calls this their crossover profile. You actually get all the benfits of a heavy barrel but at a significant weight reduction. Additionally you will notice that the barrel is threaded for use with suppressors, muzzle device and just about any other muzzle accessory you want. This rifle features a detachable box magazine and synthetic stock. The Tikka T1x MTR is a fine example of Finnish engineering.
