The 1873 was a strong, steel-framed centerfire rifle chambered in readily-available pistol-caliber cartridges capable of taking most American game save for the biggest and most dangerous.
Just as importantly, it came in various configurations including a handy 20” barreled version that could be easily carried both on foot and in a horse-scabbard. Uberti wants to pay tribute to this iconic rifle's 150th anniversary by offering the handy 20” version embellished with an original 19th-century engraving. Thanks to its sturdy all-steel frame, this engraved rifle comes in both the hard-hitting .45 LC and the versa-tile .357 Magnum / .38 Special chamberings.
