The new 2K11 from Kimber is the most feature rich, high capacity 1911 variant available on the market today. This rugged design is anchored by a 7075-aluminum alloy grip module which is coated with a type 3 hard anodizing and then precisely fit to the CNC machined stainless steel subframe which is coated with DLC. This perfect alignment of components is then hand fit to our proprietary stainless-steel slide that features a Kimber specific Coyote PVD Finish. And DLC on the basic model slide glistens like a black diamond. The 5R Rifling on the 5-inch barrel delivers remarkable accuracy and is DLC coated to resist wear.
